Another year – another amazing Angus Active Santa Run. The families of our Angus Steakhouse team all got together to amuse the kids by dressing up for our annual Santa Run. It’s actually called a jiggle, wiggle, walk, jog … as we can hardly call what we do a run!
What a fantastic location running around Little Britain Lake at Packet Boat Lane. The sun was shining and we had the biggest side splitting belly laughs from the kids as they sped off with glee.
With a little bit of a cold, I decided not to run this year but instead got carried by the snowman. We waited at the finish line to hand out medals and choccies to the kids. Good job the snowman was nimble on his toes … the kids ran the 2k in record time – 10 mins flat! I barely had time to eat one bag of chocolates before they arrived!
We then finished the day at the wonderful Watersedge Restaurant in Uxbridge which overlooks the canal. They had managed to create one long table for all 30 of us!
The food was fantastic and the service was brilliant! We would highly recommend for any occasion. We will certainly be back as soon as the weather cheers up for some kayaking with the kids.
Thanks to everyone for travelling even after a late finish the night before.
Special thanks to Regi for the medals and Rob for helping me co-ordinate and organise all these crazy activities.
And of course to all our families who have gone on to work elsewhere but still make time to meet up.
Merry Christmas and All the Best for New Year.
We look forward to seeing you December 13th 2020! How’s that for organisation! 😂
